Managing Director, Alternative Investments
Robert Mileff
CAIA®Rob is responsible for leading and managing Pitcairn’s research team for alternative investment solutions, which includes overseeing manager selection to build a robust network for liquid and illiquid alternative investments.
A driven finance professional with a deep understanding of alternative investment research, Rob is also responsible for educating clients about alternative investment strategies.
Rob works in partnership with our relationship management team to enhance our clients’ investment experience and to build wider recognition of the firm’s investment capabilities. He serves on Pitcairn’s Investment Strategy and Due Diligence Committees as the resident expert for alternative and private investments.
Rob comes to Pitcairn with more than 20 years in financial services and brings significant experience in ultra-high-net-worth wealth management and investment technology. He has previously held multiple alternative investment leadership roles at Fortigent, EnTrust Global, and Monroe Vos. Additionally, Rob spearheaded consulting efforts for notable investment technology firms, including SS&C, Backstop Solutions, and CENTRL.
A graduate of the University of Oklahoma, Rob earned a BS in Finance. He is a CAIA charter holder and an active member of the Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst Association. Rob is based in Washington, D.C.
