As a member of the Leadership Team, Matt represents the voices of client families and those who serve them, helping to shape and execute Pitcairn’s strategic vision.
In his role as Head of Wealth Management, Matt collaborates with teams throughout Pitcairn to deliver exceptional investment, planning, fiduciary, and family office services. He promotes Pitcairn’s collaborative and results-oriented culture and strives for excellence in client experiences and outcomes.
Matt has over 28 years of wealth management experience. During his 26 years with Pitcairn, he has worked closely with the Tax, Investment, Planning, Fiduciary and Operations teams to design and implement comprehensive plans for client families. He also serves as a member of Pitcairn’s Investment Strategy Committee.
Known as a relationship builder, Matt enjoys engaging with families on financial plans that meet their short-term needs and long-term objectives. He blends qualitative and quantitative strengths and deep technical expertise to emphasize holistic wealth management and to help families understand complex solutions. His areas of focus include succession planning, generational wealth transfer planning, strategic and tactical asset allocation, tax optimization strategies and philanthropic planning, all critical aspects of the Pitcairn Shared Single Family Office ™ experience.
Before joining Pitcairn in 1998, Matt worked as a Financial Analyst and Retirement Plan Administrator at Pension and Financial Services.
Matt earned his MBA in Finance from Villanova University and his BA in Economics from Ursinus College. A graduate of the Cannon Trust School, he holds the designations of Certified Trust and Financial Advisor and CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ and is a member of the Institute of Certified Bankers.
An avid woodworker, Matt appreciates the creative process of designing unique projects, especially finished carpentry. When he’s not busy in his workshop, he also enjoys playing guitar, reading, running, and most importantly, sharing time with his wife and children.
