In this role, Laurie oversees the delivery of investment and family office services to a growing group of multi-generational families, including developing, implementing, and monitoring long-term financial plans, focused on asset allocation, portfolio management, and tax planning, that meet clients’ short-term and long-term objectives. Laurie possesses a unique ability to bridge generational gaps and foster meaningful connections within families. With a keen understanding of the diverse financial needs and goals that span different generations, Laurie goes beyond conventional financial advising by emphasizing the importance of building lasting relationships.
In addition to interacting regularly with clients, she collaborates with members of Pitcairn’s Tax, Investments, Planning, Trust Administration, and Operations teams to design and implement appropriate investment strategies and financial and estate plans. Laurie is a member of Pitcairn’s Strategic Leadership Council and Pitcairn’s Family Office Leadership Council.
Laurie has over 25 years of experience in the investment service industry. Before joining Pitcairn, she spent ten years with Fortigent, a division of LPL Financial, where she served as Senior Vice President and Managing Director and also managed the Wealth Consulting team. She was part of the Fortigent team that helped Pitcairn make the move to its open architecture investment platform in 2008. Before that, she spent eight years with Fidelity Investments serving as Vice President and Senior Account Executive.
Laurie earned an MBA in Finance/Real Estate at the University of Denver and a BS in Marketing from the University of Delaware. She also holds the designation of Chartered Financial Analyst and Certified Trust and Fiduciary Advisor.
Those that know Laurie best would describe her as energetic, immensely loyal, and quick witted. Outside of Pitcairn, she loves to spend time with her family and loves to travel. She enjoys exercising and is an expert organizer; Laurie will organize anything from the garage to the silverware drawer.
